Hide Folders XP is a program that can provide a strong security layer for your folders by hiding or locking them.
The user interface of the tool is plain and simple. You can insert folders by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.
Thus, you can lock or hide an item and these options can be accessed in the context menu, file menu or menu bar.
Furthermore, you can enable and disable protection, change the password and wipe tracks (e.g. clear all links from the "Recent" folder).
In the "Settings" menu, you can set an action for when a window is closed or minimized, or when protection is disabled on quit (e.g. prompt user).
