I like the folks at Frisk Software. They were one of the first to offer an antivirus package for Linux, and continued supporting DOS long after other vendors had dropped their DOS products. (Alas, F-Prot for DOS is no more.) They also support BSD Unix, and their Linux and BSD products are free for home use. I first tried their Linux product in 2005, and it was my recommendation at that time.
